Description: The building has as its core an 18th century former rectory substantially rebuilt in 1879 in the neo-Tudor style. There are two lodges, a lake nearby, and scattered farmhouses.
Comment
The only description Conan Doyle gives us of the house is it had ‘red jutting pinnacles’ which Brockhampton Court certainly has. Also, the 1881 census showed it having the same number of staff as Conan Doyle gave it.
