    Description: House built between 1881 and circa 1910 . Arts and Crafts Tudor, Incorporates 16th and 17th century features some of which may be original to the house , others were imported from elsewhere. Largely the creation of Sabine Baring Gould (writer of the hymn “Onward Christian Soldiers”). His grandson invented facts to suggest links between the characteristics of SBG and Sherlock Holmes

    Comments: Not located on Dartmoor which cannot be seen from the house. No architectural features which match the description of Baskerville Hall
