    Description: The house was built in the neo- Jacobean style by 1851. From 1894-1908 it was owned by an art dealer Sir Joseph Duveen. It appears in a 1956 black and white film called ‘Peril for the Guy’ and later became a hospital. There are more detailed pictures, both external and internal on the website ‘Lost Hospitals of London’.

    Comments: Believed by Catherine Cooke to better meet all the criteria in the story than ‘The Logs’.
